Both full and mini DiSEqC protocols are supported. The switch, in a screened metal box, is enclosed in a rain proof plastic cover that protects the switch and the three connectors. This avoids the need for time consuming and expensive tape or boots. What is DiSEqC? DiSEqC is a method of controlling satellite accessories using data signals fed along the coax. The 22KHz is modulated by a data sequence. This data sequence can be either a single command EAST/WEST control only (Mini DiSEqC) or a more complicated set of commands for many different functions.
